![]() ![]() I don't use any of the Neo extensions because I have Topaz Photo AI for sharpening, denoise and enlargement. ![]() Sadly, Luminar software seems to use so much more memory than most other programs. I also have a previous version of Luminar, namely Luminar 4 and that runs much better and very rarely crashes. I have not had trouble with my images loading into the catalogue and that is at the largest size but after a crash it takes a little longer for the catalogue to reload. My PC spec is similar to yours, 32gb RAM, Intel i5 2.90Ghz, 447gb SSD, Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics and I also have Neo which does crash every now and then. Fortunately, there's an option to create a preset in Luminar Neo to save all your work in case of the app or your computer crashes. The same applies to editing with Luminar Neo. Saving your work is simply smart, no matter what application you're using. Is there anything I can do to improve Neo's performance that's not too technical? Irritations - don't know if there is a solution - perhaps my Windows 11 PC: Not a sophisticated, technical software user - Neo seems to suit my needs, enjoy it and have learned a variety of helpful tools. I'm making two posts - this one about my issues running Neo, the next related to purchasing noise reduction software. ![]()
